Pearlescent Paste

Pearlescent paste is a high-viscosity pearlescent material well-suited for blending with offset printing inks. It offers excellent coverage and good gloss, making it ideal for offset lithography. For pearlescent material application, the following methods are recommended:

1. In offset printing, select pearlescent powder with smaller particle size and printing after mixing at a specific ratio with printing ink; or adding a certain proportion of pearlescent powder to the varnish in water-based or UV varnishing systems for varnishing coating, which yields good results; mixing pearlescent paste with offset printing ink at a specific ratio for printing can significantly enhance ink brightness and pearlescent effect;

2. For gravure and flexographic printing, select pearlescent powder with particle size corresponding to the printing plate and mix with ink for use;

3. The pearlescent effect depends on the ink's pearlescent pigment carrying capacity and the mixing ratio.
