Calendered paper is an uncoated special processing paper manufactured through a multi-press zone grinding process. Its core production process adopts a 6-press zone mode. By optimizing the press zone configuration, the bulk thickness of the finished paper is increased, while the gloss on both sides is stably maintained within the range of 65-75%. Compared with the traditional 8-pressure zone mode, this process reduces heat energy loss and equipment wear. The comparison with the proportion shows that the thickness loss rate is significantly reduced.
In the 2024 process upgrade, the high-pressure and high-temperature super calending technology enables the paper to achieve a mirror-like effect, with the surface roughness controlled within the range of ≤1.44μm, making it suitable for fine printing fields such as art reproduction. This type of paper is made from pure wood pulp and the fiber bonding degree is adjusted through sizing process.
