Yunlong paper is a traditional handmade paper from Gongchuan Village, Dahua Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi. It is made from natural plant fibers such as the bark of the paper mulberry tree through ancient processes. It features whiteness, flexibility, water absorption, anti-insect properties, and good preservation. It can be used in packaging, calligraphy and painting, and ancient-style architecture, and has the characteristic of not changing quality for thousands of years. Its production techniques originated in the Ming Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was widely used in court contract writing, scripture copying and tea packaging. Even today, it still follows the manual production mode, and its products are exported to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe and America.
