Double Copper Card can be classified into single-sided coated paper, double-sided coated paper, matte coated paper and fabric coated paper. According to quality, it is divided into three grades: A, B and C.
The main raw materials of coated paper are coated base paper and coating. The requirements for copperplate base paper are uniform thickness, low elasticity, high strength and good water resistance. The paper surface must not have any paper defects such as spots, wrinkles or holes. The coating used for application is composed of high-quality white pigments (also known as clay, containing kaolin, talcum powder, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, etc.), adhesives (polyvinyl alcohol, casein, modified starch, synthetic latex, etc.), and other auxiliary materials (such as gloss agents, hardeners, plasticizers, dispersants, wetting agents, opalescent agents, fluorescent brighteners, toners, etc.) This highly fluid and solid content coating is thinly and evenly applied to the base paper through a coater, then dried. It is rolled into rolls on a paper reel and sent to a super calender for calendering and finishing. Finally, it is slitted, selected and packed.
