The thickness of the paper ranges from 0.02 to 0.04 millimeters, with a minimum basis weight of 25 grams per square meter. It achieves strength, toughness and folding resistance through the combination of long-fiber wood pulp and mineral fillers. The surface has undergone special calendering treatment, presenting a fine and smooth texture. The opacity remains above 79% (taking 36-gram basis weight paper as an example), and it has water resistance to resist the penetration of conventional ink marks.
The paper has a slight transparency and a variety of color options. Besides the regular white, it also includes special color series such as beige and blue-white. After getting damp, the difference in the expansion coefficients of fibers leads to easy wrinkling, so the humidity must be strictly controlled during the printing and storage processes.
