Characteristics of Lightweight Paper

Created on 03.19
The most distinctive feature of lightweight paper is its "loose thickness". Lightweight paper of the same weight is thicker, and the same thickness is thinner. This enables low-yield (as explained in the "View Paper" section) lightweight paper to replace high-yield ordinary offset paper. The unit of measurement for paper is generally weight. A high-quality paper that can reduce application costs has great appeal to the publishing industry. For a 300-page book, when printed with 80G offset paper, the spine thickness is approximately 1.5 cm. However, using the "least thick" 80G lightweight paper, the thickness is at least 1.8 cm, and the normal thickness should reach 2 cm. In this logistics era, "lightness" has also reduced transportation costs. We must admit: being able to significantly reduce costs is the core competitiveness of lightweight paper, and it is also the fundamental reason for its rapid global popularity.
