Created on 04.16
The thickness of matte paper is usually thinner than that of coated paper, and it has higher stiffness at the same weight. Its whiteness value is 5% to 8% higher than that of ordinary coated paper, reaching a CIE whiteness value of over 92. The ink absorption speed of the paper is 30% faster than that of coated paper, and the ink is less likely to smudge after curing. The hardness of 300g matte paper is equivalent to that of 250g cardstock, and the flatness of the book after binding is better than that of coated paper.
