Fuyin Expands Packaging Line with Food-Grade Coated Kraft Board

As the global food packaging industry continues to place greater emphasis on sustainability, regulatory compliance, and packaging performance, Fuyin has officially introduced its new-generation Food-Grade Coated Kraft Board, further expanding the company’s portfolio of eco-friendly packaging materials.
Produced from high-quality mixed pulp and treated with a professional single-side coating process, the paper delivers a smooth printing surface while maintaining excellent burst strength, tear resistance, and crush resistance. The material is designed to meet the growing demand for both structural reliability and visual presentation in modern food packaging applications.
In recent years, the market has seen increasing demand for packaging materials that combine environmental responsibility with strong industrial adaptability. Compared with conventional high-gloss coated white boards, Food-Grade Coated Kraft Board places greater focus on durability, sustainability, and converting stability while still offering reliable print performance. It is particularly suitable for cold-chain logistics, high-frequency transportation, and heavy-duty packaging applications.
According to Fuyin, the product has been developed through optimized fiber structure engineering and advanced surface coating technology, allowing for more balanced printability and converting performance. The board is compatible with offset printing, UV printing, and water-based ink printing, while also supporting various post-processing applications including die-cutting, creasing, and lamination.
From a sustainability and supply chain perspective, the product uses FSC Mix Credit certified materials and complies with EUDR-related requirements, ensuring traceable and responsibly sourced raw materials that align with international procurement standards for sustainable packaging.
Currently available in basis weights ranging from 190–340gsm, the product also offers multiple reel width options to accommodate different production equipment and converting requirements. It is widely suitable for liquid packaging, pizza boxes, fruit trays, beer carriers, yogurt sleeves, and other food packaging applications, while also performing well in industrial packaging sectors requiring high burst and compression strength.
Beyond its performance advantages, Food-Grade Coated Kraft Board also offers strong cost competitiveness. Compared with similar coated white board products, it typically provides a cost advantage of approximately 15%–20%, offering brand owners a more balanced packaging solution that combines sustainability, structural performance, and production efficiency.
